The Fishing:

The time of year determines what species of fish is available. RainbowTrout, Grayling, Dolly Varden,Charr, and Pike start about mid May until freeze-up in late October or Thanksgiving.....King Salmon can be readily caught from the beginning of June thru the 4th of July. These salmon weigh between 15 to 70 lbs!!! mid July brings Sockeye, Chum, and Pink salmon in large numbers......August and early September bring Silver or Coho salmon.

I use all elements to my advantage; wind, clouds, rain, and the midnight sun. Remember that it never really gets dark, i.e., I love to dry fly fish after midnight out of float tubes....remember, fish do not bite on a 9 to 5 schedule so why fish to that schedule?

I can design your trip for you or give you a list of options to pick from yourself, or both. Maybe one day you will rather sit and relax or ride ATV's into the mountains to fish, sight see, or take an airplane ride to the glacier or Mt McKinley. Again....NO PROBLEM, this is YOUR time.

My primary fishing plan is simple:airplane drop offs, jet boats, jet skis and ATV's for the hard to reach places, or my favorite, walk ins, noiseless catarafts and float tubes....to enjoy nature and God's creation in it's pristine state.

My battlefield is the Cook Inlet drainage system which is basically between MT McKinley (which is the tallest mountain in North America), and the world famous Kenai River.

Many days I see no one....no foot prints, no motor noise. Try to imagine this; you are the only person to EVER walk and FISH this area! All memories are caught on film to show your family and friends. All you need is your own equipment that is, rods, waders, and rain gear.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??
